The TrueAllele® Databank technology is available as a basic technology package or as a customizable system.

  • TrueAllele Databank Datastations
  • Automated interpretation includes: Over 30 interpretation rules, applied to each genotype, to identify potentially problematic allele calls. This computer-based, streamlined STR review process has led to considerable efficiencies in DNA databank construction and property crime turnaround. TrueAllele Databank has specifically been configured to integrate with standard LIMS systems. The TrueAllele system is designed to work with raw data from any DNA sequencing instrument.

    TrueAllele Databank Applications

There are many ways to deploy the TrueAllele interpretation technology into a laboratory process:

  • Screen reference DNA data prior to human review.
  • Review reference DNA data as a second scorer.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot quality of reference sample DNA production lines.
  • Effectively screen post-conviction reference samples to help exonerate wrongfully convicted offenders.
  • Rapidly process high throughput reference samples for databanking (the UK Home Office processed more than a million samples with the TrueAllele technology).
  • Help automate the processing of single source samples from property crime scenes.
  • Eliminate the convicted offender reference sample backlog.
